Nikki began her insurance career as a commercial underwriter and spent 9 years working in various underwriting and marketing roles before moving to a large independent broker as a commercial producer. There she spent 5 years, built a substantial book of clients and loved what she did.
NB Talent was founded in 2021 by Nikki Brandt.
However, she saw an opportunity to serve a need not currently being met: recruiting for top talent in her industry. She believes that understanding the roles you place and the clients you serve on a deep level is the best way to create mutually beneficial, lasting relationships.

She won’t recruit for a company if she wouldn’t work there herself, and that credibility goes a long way with candidates. Nikki also handles all of NBT’s new client vetting and business development.

Jamie is a résumé guru with a knack for blending sharp business acumen and creative flair. Jamie's expertise in crafting standout résumés stems from her experience in university career centers and her current role in HR at a leading global P&C insurance carrier. Jamie joined NBT on a part time basis in 2024 as our in-house résumé wizard.

Fawn grew up in Cupertino, CA, beginning her career in high-tech sales in Silicon Valley. In 2005, she transitioned into the insurance industry, obtaining her LA&H license, and focused in the voluntary supplements space. She later pivoted into recruiting and loved it! Fawn joined the NBT team in 2024 doing candidate outreach.
